Passion For Financial Freedom

Getting financial freedom  is a long process. It might need 10 years, 20 years or even more. You might get rich overnight but you can’t get financial freedom overnight. Financial freedom is not a overnight thing. It need passion and commitment. In order to keep my passion for achieving financial freedom and get rich, I keep on reminding my goals and trigger to take actions.

  • Whenever I see luxury car overtake me on the road, I told myself I will own it one day in the future.
  • Whenever I see people go shopping and go spa during weekdays when others are in office, I told myself I also want to be categorize in this group also.
  • Whenever I see people departing for a vacation in airport, I told myself I can do it too.
  • Whenever I look at my score board, I know that I am on my pathway to becoming rich and financial freedom.
  • Whenever I finish a book, I feel that I am closer to rich and financial freedom  because I have save my time and money on unnecessary pathway.

Wealth Building Careers

If you dream to drive nice car, live bungalow, travel oversea once a year and etc, 9-5 jobs definitely won’t make you reach your dream. What you need is wealth creation careers not jobs. For me, careers and jobs have different meaning. Jobs refer to work for people and earn money for people while careers refer to work for yourself and earn money for yourself. Careers are sort of your own business.

From my observation, for a youngster like fresh graduate or school leaver after spm, the better careers to build wealth in shortest time are joining insurance and MLM aka multi level marketing.

Why We Need To Invest?

I get to know the word invest when I am still in primary school through my parents investing their savings in fix deposits. Why FD? Cause they are higher interest than other normal bank account. From their conversation i know that through investing we will gain more money than original. Ya, that’s the phrase I remember, “gain more than origin”

Let say we have RM10000 in FD with 5% per annual . After 1 year, our account will have RM10500. The extra RM500 is the interest gained. That’s how gain more than origin explained. If our annual expenses is RM500, then we can retire with yearly income of RM500 without work.

First Steps To Financial Freedom

After introducing what the financial freedom is, so what is the steps that lead to financial freedom. Some people might think that winning a million from 4D  means financial freedom. Yes, it is a way for you if you know how to manage the money.

As a ordinary people who make living from salary and not lucky enough to win lottery, then how could we achieve financial freedom? The only way I can think of  is through savings. Do you still remember the steps to financial freedom that I draw on last post? Hope that you remember it!

Definition of Financial Freedom

Financial freedom is the goal for every working people. So what does financial freedom means? If define it separately, financial means money while freedom means do whatever you want to. Therefore, financial freedom means one can spend the money freely without much restriction. They still have income that enough to cover their expenses for their remaining life although they are not working anymore.

So, how can you achieve financial freedom? Financial freedom is not an overnight or couple weeks goal. It might need five to ten or twenty or even thirty years to achieve it. It depends on one’s determination. Below show the diagram of steps to obtain financial freedom.
