Cut Loss

This is my new investment rule, cut loss whenever encounter 15% of drawback of my buying price. I will sell off my position and look for another rising star. There are thousand of stocks listed in Bursa. Therefore, we shouldn’t eye on the penny stock that we invested.

Earning Per Share (EPS)

Earning Per Share (EPS) is another figure which fundamental investor look for before investing in particular stock besides ROE, PER, NTA and P/B.  Earning Per Share (EPS) can be define as “The portion of a company’s profit allocated to each outstanding share of common stock”- from Investopedia. Way of The Turtle rated as one of the best trading books in the market. It is written by Curtis M.Faith. He was lucky enough to be one of the participant in the Turtle. Turtle is a program held by Richard Dennis (one of the world famous commodities trader) and William Eckhardt. They wish to know whether trader is made or born. So the author and other participant is the guinea pig in their experiment whether trader is made or born.

eDividend Payment From Listed Company

                                                               Start from 1 September 2010, shareholders bursa-malaysiacan receive dividend from Public Listed Company (PLCs) through their bank account. This is what called edividend. In the past, shareholders receive dividend from Public Listed Company by cheque, which cause many problems like delay in delivering and lost in delivering.

Stock Investment Rules

I started my first investment since September 2009. The first stock I bought is Gpacket 0082. I made roughly 70% of profit from it in 3 months time. Undeniable, it is just lucky. I knew nothing about fundamental or technical. What I saw was just future of Wimax and read some news about it. Now, I refresh back, it was full of risks! I might loss all if the luck was not on my side. Therefore, I have set a few rules for myself in stock investment.
