Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM) 2010 Dividend
Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM), a unit under Permodalan Nasioal Berhad (PNB) had declared a 6.30 sen per unit dividend to it shareholders with financial year end 31 March 2010. There is improvement of 0.05 sen compare to 6.25 sen per unit in 2009. ASM actually can pay 7.30 sen to shareholders but they had retain 1.00 sen for future investing purpose. Therefore, only 6.30 sen paid to shareholders.
Up to date, ASM now provide 13.0 billion unit of shares for Malaysian to invest. Minimum investing will be 100 units or RM100 since one unit equal to RM1. The best thing is there are no charges for buying it and you can cash out immediately. This definitely will be a place for you to keep your emergency fund which give high return and liquidity on the same time.
Well, I have no comment on the 6.30 sen dividend since it is totally passive income for me. I only think about it once a year, that is during dividend declaration date. ASM is a fixed priced equity-income fund aimed at providing unit holders a long-term investment opportunity that generates regular and competitive returns through a diversified portfolio of investments.
4 years average start from 2007 until 2010 is 6.78 sen

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it very much. Please don’t feel offended as I found some errors in your grammar. I committed similar errors myself, from time to time out of hurrying.
