Survey First Before You Spend
It is end of the year and dining promotion is everywhere, especially for Christmas eve and New Year eve. I had a romantic dinner with my girlfriend on Christmas Eve but it do not come with cheap. I spend hundred ringgit for a one hour plus dinner on Christmas eve.
Actually, we don’t mean to spend that much because we had plan a short trip to Kuching during the last week of December 2009. We skipped those expensive buffet dinner at hotel. Both of us agree to go for a simple dinner in normal cafe.
However, thing were not on our side. We had went into an expensive cafe! When we just step in the cafe, the owner of the cafe promote their Christmas Eve Buffet and Dinner Set for lover . We failed to reject the hardcore promote from the owner. We chose Dinner Set for lover which cost around RM100 for 2 persons. We had mushroom soup, steak, dessert and red wine. Romantic song with a dim light and a candle on the table really make us unforgettable. It was a precious night for us. credit via weplaywithfire
Well, I guess these cuisine won’t cost a hundred in normal time, especially without red wine. Whatever it is, the lesson learnt is do survey first before you spend, just as we do survey before we buy house and car, else you will pay the bill with your bleeding wallet.
Survey takes time.
Just use common sense.
Don’t spend money on “special day”.
Focus making money, and save money, not saving by survey price.

But sometimes survey do help us save money such as some newly open restaurant, IT products and etc.
