It is end of the year and dining promotion is everywhere, especially for Christmas eve and New Year eve. I had a romantic dinner with my girlfriend on Christmas Eve but it do not come with cheap. I spend hundred ringgit for a one hour plus dinner on Christmas eve.
I started my investment journey at the end of 2007 in ASNB. I know nothing about investment that time. What I know is the dividend rate of ASNB is higher than fixed deposits rate in bank. That’s all. Since I have extra money not in use, so I get my all extra into the ASNB. All these year ASNB gave me 6-7 percent dividend.
I had won a contest from KCLau last month. KCLau is a financial blogger on his website, KCLau.com. I won a book title Buat Duit Tanpa Makan Gaji. It is written by Zulkifli Musa and in Bahasa Melayu.
EPF dividend declared had been always a hot topic to discuss each years. Most of the people complain that the dividend given is too low. Most investor can get higher than it or roughly 8 to 10 percent by investing it in unit trust. More aggressive investor that tend to invest in stock market sometimes will gain more than 20%.

Warren Buffett is famous in stock investing, Donald Trump is well known for real estate shark and David Beckham superstar in football arena.
The first person that influenced Warren Buffett deepest was Benjamin Graham. Warren Buffett learned the theory of investing from Benjamin Graham in University of Columbia. Benjamin Graham’s Value Investing theory attracted interest of Warren Buffett so much until it become one of the Warren Buffett rules of investing. Benjamin Graham published Intelligent Investor which Warren act as "the greatest book on investing ever written”.
In the month of November, I had read a chinese book. This is my first time of reading chinese book since I started my reading habit, one book per month. The reason I choose chinese book is it is cheaper than English book. Made in China always cheaper right. Now, I just spend half of my budget on books.
