Get Rich Quickly
When I was young, I always dreaming of to get rich quickly. I wish that I will be given a chance to make big bucks in a life time. Making big money is an easy job in my mind that time. I think I can I dream to become successful business man. Do you have same dreams too?
This dream continue until I received my salary two weeks ago. It is not my first salary in life but it is my first salary with financial knowledge in life. During the school time, all part-time salary were gone to buying wanted stuff to gratify myself. That time, I never think of what kind of life I wanted to live on and no financial goal in life. As you can see, goal is very important in life. Once you have goal, you will persuade your goal and do certain sacrifice in life in order to achieve the goal.
Since received my salary, get rich quickly dream in my mind had dead forever. Get rich slowly born in my mind. I stop dreaming of fancy things like winning jackpot. I start my financial freedom journey step by step. I do my financial planning and spend money prudently.
With the new revolution in my life, new perception about financial freedom kicking in my mind. Here there are:
1)Times create wealth
2)Chances are for people who do preparation
3)Get rich slowly NOT quickly
4)Be patient in order to achieve the goal
“Get Rich Quickly” phrase is really eyes catching which now I am doubtful of. I rely more on “Get Rich Slowly” which is not eyes catching but more reliable and achievable. If you have get rich quickly mind, hope you can change your perception too and in the right pathway soon.
Hi, I have the same story like yours. Now I have new perspective of becoming rich, which is also like you. Now I slow down myself, I did take a step back, but that doesn’t mean I had forgot about my dream of becoming rich. I understand the power of time over money. For example, if we have 50k now, we could become millionaire within 6 years if our money grow at 1.25%-1.35% per week. It is achieveable since it is much lower than majority investors/traders’re targeting in stock market ot 5-10% profit take away per transaction. Of course there are many things to consider – I over simplified this as I am just writing in a comment box.
