Business Vs Investing
Investing and business is totally separate term and different meaning for me. I find that some people get to interchange and misuse this two term as they like.
Okay, if you invest something means you are waiting for passive income by work nothing or little on what you invest is called invest. Good example of investment vehicle are Fixed Deposit, Unit Trust, Stock and the list go as you can name it. All of them need less attention from you.
If you put much effort in your investment vehicle for income, then you are in business. Let say, opening a store. You are the main worker of the store and in charge of all sort of work from storekeeper to salesman to accountant. You put more than 10 hours in what you have invest. Does that still call investing? I guess no. However, if you own a system to run your business and you are just monitoring it, then you are investing.
Most people just want to invest for passive income. I also love investing for passive income but not income. We still need a full time job that give us primary income. Passive income just help us to have a better life.
